I have met some friends through girlfriend social which has been great experience.
I've gone out with a Bestie and we had great times we still in keep in touch.
I want to make even more new friends, I think more experiences the better.
On the positive note, I feel ever so grateful as I met through GS a few women and we enjoyed socialising outside but I feel surprised there are too many mature members here who lack a basic courtesy to respond to initial emails even if it was a rejection
I went to school for 7 years and was so busy with work and academics that I didn't make any friends post High School. So, I signed up for GFS. I didn't think I would meet anyone who was serious enough to build a friendship, but I was very wrong. Just after a few months on the site, I found two very good friends. I am very happy to have utilized this friend-making source!
This is a wonderful idea for women who are looking to socialise and make new friends! Im glad I found the site! Its perfect for someone who is shy like me!
I joined about a year ago and I met someone who I immediately clicked with. It turns out that our paths had almost crossed multiple times throughout our lives but we always just missed each other. The strange thing is that we actually share a maiden name, so I think we were destined to meet and become friends. We have so much in common and we hang out whenever we can. Now, I consider her a sister and I can't imagine not having her always just a phone call or few taps away. Thank you Girlfriend Social for bringing us together.
Hello i totally recommend this site. i came into this site looking for some good penpals because i was lonely and the only freinds i had are my blind girlfriend and her friendds as well. but they are all in middle and highschool. So i decided to be advatangerous and do this to make friends the same age as me. or a little higher . An so far i have 4 friends i talked to. And 1 friend as the admin. i am so greatful i came to this site. i feel welcomed and very appericated by my friends. so far
I was having a hard time making friends once all my college friends moved away and I had felt like I tried everything. I went out a lot, tried meet ups, etc. but nothing was sticking. I remember joking with my mom one day how I wished there was site like a dating website, but for meeting female friends. I decided to randomly google it and I found girlfriend social! It took some time (so don't give up!) but I finally met some ladies who clicked with me and we had so many of the same interests. One became one of my best friends and I remained close with my other girlfriends until they moved away. We still keep up with one another, but I'm so glad this site exists.
I've been on the site for over 5 years, I met a couple nice ladies in Oregon where I first joined, but then I moved overseas and there weren't any english-speaking users near me there.
Now I'm back on the east coast and really hoping I find my next best friend on here.
Interestingly it didn't take long at all for me to be matched with a super, kind warm hearted woman. We are such close friends now that thinking back to our first meeting ever feels like a lifetime ago. We get together with and without our SOs she lives just one city over from me that makes it easy to visit and when we can't see each other we text lots of love.
Back when I was new to town, I was desperate to meet other women. I was unemployed and didn't really interact with anyone. I met a woman on Girlfriend Social who had also just moved to where I lived and we hit it off right away! We've been friends for five years now and she is one of my best friends. I highly recommend Girlfriend Social for meeting some new lady friends. It's a safe space to say hi and see what you have in common.
I have been on Girlfriend social since February 2020 before the Covid pandemic started. This app helped me understand myself and what I really wanted. I have met the greatest girls that supported one another and build up from this deadly virus. I grew within myself and along with others. Thank you Girlfriend social.
I joined GFS awhile ago because i moved to a brand new state by myself and i wanted to meet new friends. I have met some really wonderful people and still have friendships with a few people today!
I have not yet met anyone, but this seems like such a great site.. I'm really hoping that I can finally meet some real genuine people on here... Who ever thought to make a site like this one, was spot on.
I joined GFS a long time ago and met a handful of friends here. A few didn't work out however I cherish the ones who I've met here that are still in my life. Friendships take time to develop so if you are patient and willing then it will work.
I wasn’t very confident that I would meet a girlfriend when I got on this site. I not only met a girlfriend but she is the sister and daughter I never had. We have been getting together regularly and we have plans to travel when the covid is no longer causing restrictions. We both prayed to meet someone special and our prayer was answered. She is truly a blessing.

I have been using GFS for four years now and still love it! I have met up with several girls and they've all been great. Even though our friendships didn't last more than a few meet-ups, I still consider it a great experience and a way to push my shyness aside. I still get on frequently in hopes of finding a best friend!
I've met one of my best friend on GFS. It has been over 4 years since we have met and I love this girl. If it had not been for GFS, I would not have her in my life now. We would not have shared our marriage announcements, children growing, and all the other special events we have shared together. We have been through so many ups and downs in our lives and it is a blessing that we have had one another. I definitely consider her my best friend.
I love girlfriend social. I met 2 wonderful ladies on here and after 2 years they are really really close friends still..... Actually all 3 of us are friends. One actually became my roommate lol. Can't rave about this site enough! Good luck "friending".
I actually have had much better luck with this site than other platonic apps/websites, i am really grateful to have met all of my close knit local friends from here,i am fairly active and still connecting with people on occasion. This site is really the one one that works.
It takes a little time, but so far I am hopeful. I got to meet a very nice young woman for coffee, and I've messaged and texted with two others. There hasn't been a 'click' yet, but I give so much credit to the mindset behind this site. It's wonderful, easy to navigate, and given time and a little effort you can meet some truly wonderful ladies here.
I wish I had heard of GFS sooner! This site is amazing. It's been so hard to find friends my age with the same hobbies and interests until GFS! I'm chatting online with ladies from all over and local. I've met for lunch and mani/pedis, and I'm texting some that I've really clicked with. I love that I can move at my own pace. I can choose when, and if, I want to move things to meeting in person, texting etc. You just have to be willing to put some effort into chatting to get to know people better. Just moved or lost touch with old friends? I highly recommend GFS!

Within a couple of months of joining, I met my new friend. We were both surprised how many interests we have in common, and how well we get on. We now text each other every day and meet up often.

I joined girlfriend social awhile ago cause I moved from my home state of New Jersey to Pennsylvania and I wanted to find some girlfriends to hang out with which I did and i keep in contact with a lot of the friends I made on here.....i found this site just by Google search and I miss having the chat feature....I still love this website
